What can happen if i moved out of my house at age 16 without parent consent?

Depends on the laws of your state. If you were legally married, then you would be considered legally emancipated and allowed to make adult decisions. If you were hired by a major modeling agency or signed to a major record contract or movie deal, you could claim emancipation and start your own life.

But my guess is that you'd move in with a friend or family member who would eventually have to report your whereabouts to the police and your parents. You might get lucky and find someone who will keep you hidden longer, but someone like that probably has a few other ideas as well.

Even if the best happens and you move in with someone cool, you still have two more years of schooling to deal with. It's not like you can just show up at your current high school like nothing happened. Your records and transcripts would have to be transferred to a new school, which would reveal your new address. You could get a GED, I suppose, but there are only a few authorized testing places and they would most likely be monitored.

In short, very few good things could happen to a 16 year old who moves out without a serious life plan and independent income. Cowboy up and stay home for two more years. What can happen if i moved out of my house at age 16 without parent consent?
you will be a runaway, and will be arrested. What can happen if i moved out of my house at age 16 without parent consent?
Well, besides the above answers, you can also become extremely happy :)
YOU GO TO JAIL.
You can be moved back in, without YOUR consent.
lets just put it this way, not good!

cuz lets say u move out...w/out parent consent...

u need money, they wont help u cuz wut u did to them...u need food...nope, u need shelter nope..not until u come crawling back to them saying ur sorry, and your embasses urself...and be made a fool cuz u left and now ur back!

hope it helps!
runaway/kidnapping someone really icky could get you, etc...have you ever heard of the ';Runaway Bride'; in the news in the last year? oh, she was arrested and all that good stuff since she started mass hysteria...anyway if you are not comfortable at home due to abuse, contact a local Lighthouse shelter or call 211 (United Way) and they can offer some guidence
Not only what is listed above but they could also put you in a group home. I do have a question how would you finish school, eat , have roof over your head. Is it really bad at home? This is the only time in your life where you can live off of someone and it is socially acceptable. Stay at home finish school and go off to college. You can go to an out of state college so you will no longer be with your parents. That leaves only 2 years to stick it out and get an education so you can better yourself. Be smart!!!!
you will be considered a runaway but if ur parents dont care then they wont call the police

Well the only legal option is to have yourself emancipated, at which point you will be in no way bound to them.
Depending on the state your in a number of things can happen. This also depends on how determined your guardians are to have you returned. You can become an ';Emancipated Minor'; which isn't that hard at 16, but you will have to find out how to do this from your state.
